Youcan play back the disc recorded w ith this camera on CD-ROM drives. Youhave

toexecute the finalization before viewing images on a CD-ROM drive.A disc that

hasnot be en executed the finalization cannot be read with CD-ROM drives.

What is finalization?

•Thefinalization is required to view images on a CD-ROM drive.

•Youcan record new images on the finalizeddisc if you execute the initialization on

itagain. The initialization will be automatically executed when the finalizationis

executedusing the camera. Youhave to execute the finalization to view newimages

ona CD-ROM drive.Each time you execute the finalization,approximate 13 MB of

thedisc will decrease. We recommend that you executethe finalization onto

compileddata at a time.

•Youcan execute the finalizationonto the disc later, even if you remove it from the

camera.

•TheCD-ROM drive must co nform to the MultiRead type to read the disc that was

finalized.

3Checkthat the disc is set c orrectlyin th e groovesof the ada ptor,

thatall the tabs are even with the surfaceof the adaptor, and that

thedisc is no t protrudef romthe ada ptor.

Preparingfor viewing images on CD-ROM drives (FINALIZE)

If the tabs protrude, press them back down

into place. Otherwise, it may cause

malfunction of your disc drive.
