This function protects images against accidental erasure.

In single-image mode

aSet the mode dial to .

bDisplay the image you want to protect with b/B.

cPress MENU.

The menu appears.

dSelect [Protect] with b/B, then press z.

The displayed image is protected. The

-(protect) indicator appears on the image.

In index (nine-image) mode

aSet the mode dial to , then press the zoom W (index) to display the index (nine-image) screen.

bPress MENU.

The menu appears.

cSelect [Protect] with b/B, then press z.

d Select [Select] with b/B, then

press z.

e Select the image you want to

The green - indicator appears on the

 

selected image.

 

If you protect an image, the disc remaining space will decrease. If you cancel the protection, the disc remaining space will also decrease.

If the disc remaining space is not sufficient, you may not be able to protect an image.

It may take some time to protect the images.

eTo continue and protect other images, select the desired image with b/B, then press z.

To cancel the protection

Press z again in step 4 or 5. The - indicator disappears.
