Customer support Web site Table of contents for symptoms and possible causes Operation There is no sound. Data cannot be played. Songs or photos cannot be deleted on the player. Transferred data is not displayed in its list. Songs are played back within a limited playback range only, such as within one album. Noise is generated. [VPT(Surround)] setting or [Clear Stereo] function is not effective. The player does not respond to any button operations. Page Page Display appears for a title or song lyrics. [Unknown] is displayed for an album or artist name, etc. Garbled characters are displayed. The screen darkens while displaying a photo. Power Battery life is short. The player cannot charge the battery. Page Connection to a computer Cannot install the software. Data cannot be transferred to the player from your computer. The transfer takes too long time. Only a small amount of data can be transferred to the player. Cannot return a song on the player to the computer. The player becomes unstable while it is connected to the computer. Folders cannot be renamed or deleted. SensMe Channels You cannot find your desired channel. [Morning] always displayed for the time- based channel. Unsuitable songs for selected time-based channels are played. Audio podcasts and voice recordings are not played by SensMe Channels. FM Radio FM broadcasts are unclear. Reception is weak and sound quality is poor. FM broadcasts are affected by interference. FM broadcasts cannot be heard. Recording The remaining recording time remains the same even though files are deleted. Cannot record. The combined total elapsed and remaining recording time does not equal the maximum recording time. Recorded files cannot be deleted. Podcast Cannot play back an episode. Other There is no beep sound when the player is operated. The player gets warm. The date and time have been reset. Noise is generated when plugging or unplugging the headphones.
