Inserting a Memory Stick Media

Insert the Memory Stick media into the media slot on the left side of the computer until it clicks into place.

!Hold the Memory Stick media with the arrow pointing in toward the slot. To avoid damaging the computer or the Memory Stick media, do not force the media into the slot.

To confirm that the Memory Stick media is inserted correctly, check the Removable Disk (S:) drive.

To check the drive:

1Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.

2Check that the Removable Disk (S:) icon is displayed in the My Computer window.

3Double-click the Removable Disk (S:) icon to display the contents of the Memory Stick media.
