Assigning the IP Address to this Unit
To connect this unit to a network, you need to assign a new IP address to the unit. Before assigning the IP address, connect the unit to a computer or a network (page 18).
You can assign the IP address in two ways:
•Using the setup program stored in the suppliedFor details on the operations, see “Assigning the IP Address Using the Setup Program” on page 21.
•Using the ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) commandsOpen the DOS window on the computer and enter the specified ARP commands.
