When “— —” flashes for the program number

“— —” indicates an unrecorded segment. Press the =/0 button to rewind the tape until “— —” stops flashing. Then, press the )/+ button to locate the end of the previous recording.

Select AUTO (MUSIC or SPEECH).

The tape-corder adjusts the recording level automatically. MUSIC: For music SPEECH: For a meeting or conference

Select MANUAL when you want to adjust the recording level manually. (See page 17.)
