To send a still image via e-mail if you use America Online® or other non-MAPI-compliant e-mail software

If you use an online service provider such as America Online® or other non-MAPI-compliant e-mail software, you should not use the MAIL button to send still images. You can send still images by attaching the still image file to your e-mail message.

1In the Smart Capture application, capture a new still image or choose a previously captured image to send. To capture a new still image see “Capturing a still image” on page 57. To choose a previously captured still image, use the or button.

Click the Save button to save the image as a file.

Create your e-mail message and attach the file to your message.

Capturing a video clip

You can capture video clips using the built-in camera, view them, and send them via e-mail.

1Press the CAPTURE button to start Smart Capture.
