Getting started

To insert the SIM card and charge the

battery

1Slide the SIM card hold er in the directio n

marked OPEN. Lift the edge of the holder and

slide the SIM card into the holder slots with

the gold connectors as shown in the

illustration. Make sure the notch is aligne d as

shown. Lay the SIM card holder back down

and slide the holder to lock the SIM into place.

2Place the battery on th e back of the phone with

the label side up and the connectors facing

each other.

3Place the battery cover as shown in the pi cture

and slide it into place.

4Open the connector cover and connect the

charger to the phone at t he flash symb ol. The

flash on the phone should be on the right side

when attaching the charger with the flash

facing upwards.

5It may take up to 30 minutes before the battery

icon appears on the screen.

6Charge for 4 hours or until the battery icon

indicates a full charge. If you do not see the

battery icon after this time, press any key or

to activate the screen.

7Remove the charger by tilting the plug upwards.
