Antenna Only use an antenna that has been specifically designed by Sony Ericsson for your mobile phone. Use of unauthorized or modified antennas could damage your mobile phone and may violate regulations, causing loss of performance and SAR levels above the recommended limits (see below).
Efficient use Hold your mobile phone as you would any other phone. Do not cover the antenna portion of the phone when in use, as this affects call quality and may cause the phone to operate at a higher power level than needed, thus shortening talk and standby times.
The antenna portion is located at the bottom of the keypad. When the phone is open, the antenna is at the bottom of the phone. When the phone is closed, it is at the top of the phone.
