To reset all profile settings
} Settings } the General tab } Profiles
} Reset Profiles.
Stopwatch
Your phone has a stopwatch that can save up to
9 laps. The stopwatch co ntinues to run whe n you
answer an incoming call.
} Organizer } Stopwatch } Start. } Stop or
} New Lap if you want a lap time. To re set the
stopwatch } Reset.
Timer
Your phone has a built-in timer. When the timer
rings, press any key to turn it off.
} Organizer } Timer and enter the hours, minutes
and seconds after w hich you want the timer to ring.
Screen light
The screen light can be set to Automatic or Off. In
automatic mode, the sc reen light is t urned off a fe w
seconds after you last press a key. Regardless of
Light setting, the screen itself is also turned off a
few more seconds after a last key press, to optimize
standby time.

Startup screen
When you turn your phone o n or off, the
Sony Ericsson startup screen appears. Your service
provider’s own startup s creen may appear in stead.
You can also set your own startup screen.

and select a file for the startup screen.
Calculator
The phone has a standard calculator.
} Organizer } Calculator.

Press to delete the figure.
Press to enter a decimal point .
SIM card lock
The SIM card lock protects your subscription, but
not the phone itself, from unautho rized use. If you
change SIM cards, the p hone still works with the
new SIM card.
Most SIM cards are locked at the time of purchase.
If the SIM card lock is on , you have to ente r a PIN
(Personal Identity Number) e very time you turn on
your phone.
