Composing and Sending SMSTextMessages

With SMS Text Messaging, you can use other people’s wireless phone numbers to send and receive messages from your phone to their messaging-ready phones and they can send messages to you.

TocomposeandsendanSMSTextmessage:

1.Select >Messaging>SendMessage>Text.

2.Select <AddEntry> to select a way of selecting a new entry.

3.Press Done (left softkey) when you have finished selecting and entering recipients. (You may include up to 10 recipients per message.)

4.Select Next (left softkey) and compose a message and press when you are finished.

■Press Mode (right softkey) for a different character input mode. (See “Entering Text”on page 41.)

5.To set the message priority, scroll to Priority>Ordinaryor Urgent.

6.Review your message and press Send (left softkey). (You can also select a callback number or change the recipients by pressing Options [right softkey].)
