Note: Speed dialing is notavailable when you are roaming; when you are roaming off the Nationwide SprintPCS Network, you mustalways dial using 11 digits (1 + area code + number).

Using Abbreviated Dialing

Abbreviated Dialing is similar to speed dialing. You can use either of the following abbreviated dialing features.

Ph.Book Match allows you to retrieve any desired number saved in your Contacts by entering only the lastthree to six digits of the number, and automatically dials the retrieved number. (See “To activate the Ph. Book Match feature”on page 71.)

Prepend allows you to prepend predefined numbers (first five or six digits) to the lastfour or five digits you enter, and then automatically dials the number. (See page 71 to register a prepend number and activate the Prepend feature.)

1.Enter the last three to six digits of a Contact’s phone number.

2.Press or . If there is more than one matched number in your Contacts list, the Abbrev. Dial list appears.
