Sets the base unit for the line spacing commands, cESC> “3” and cESC> “J”. If the value of n is 180, the base unit is set to l/l 80”. If the value of n is 216, the base unit is set to l/216”. If otherwise specified, this command is ignored. This command becomes effec- tive only after &SC> “3” or <ESC> “J” is received. The default base unit is set to l/216”.
