11-1-1 CHECKING CONDENSER

1)Check the capacity of condensers using a ”Dr. R0bin”generator tester in capacitance meter mode.

NOTE : Be sure to discharge condensers by shorting condenser leads each other before checking their capacitance, or the accurate reading cannot be obtained.

11-1-2 CHECKING STATOR

1) Removecontrolpanel and disconnectstator wires at the connectors.

2)Measuretheresistancebetweenterminalson stator leads. (See Fig.11-2)

Refer to Table 9-1 for normal resistance.

If stator is faulty, replaceit with a new one.
