3.Halt the system using the appropriate commands. Refer to the Solaris Handbook for SMCC Peripherals that corresponds to your operating system.

4.Wait for the system-halted message and the boot monitor prompt.

5.Turn off the system power in this order:

a.External drives and expansion cabinets (if any)

b.System cabinet

c.Terminal

6.Turn the front panel key switch to the Standby position. See Figure 12-1.

7.Turn the AC power sequencer power switch to Off.

The power sequencer is at the rear of the cabinet. See Figure 12-2.

Caution – Before attempting to service the system cabinet, turn off the AC
