Security Service Commands

Thesesecurity commands are used to control the security mapping for the connector

connectionpool. These commands are supported in remote mode only.

Command Denition
create-connector-security-map Createsa security map for the specied connector connection pool. If
thesecurity map is not present, a new one is created. Also, use this
commandto map the caller identity of the application (principal or
usergroup) to a suitable enterprise information system (EIS)
principalin container-managed transaction-based scenarios. One or
morenamed security maps may be associated with a connector
connectionpool. The connector security map conguration supports
theuse of the wild card asterisk (*) to indicate all users or all user
groups.For this command to succeed, you must have rst created a
connectorconnection pool. The EIS is any system that holds the data
ofan organization. It can be a mainframe, a messaging system, a
databasesystem, or an application.

update-connector-security-map Modiesa security map for the specied connector connection pool.
list-connector-security-map Liststhe security maps belonging to the specied connector
