CPU

•Two Intel® 5500 Series (LGA 1366) processors with each processor supporting two full-width Intel QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) links with a total of up to 51.2 GT/s Data Transfer Rate (6.4 GT/s per direction)

Memory

•Twelve 240-pin DIMM sockets support up to 96 GB of Registered ECC or 24 GB of Unbuffered ECC/Non-ECC DDR3 1333/1066/800 MHz Memory. (For Unbuffered ECC/Non-ECC memory, maximum of 2 GB per DIMM is supported. See Pages 2-7, 2-8 in Chapter 2 for memory Population.)

Chipset

•Intel 5520 chipset, including: the 5520 (IOH-36D) and the ICH10R (South Bridge).
