5Conexión Básica

En esta sección se describe cómo conectar el aparato a una antena, caja de cable/satélite, etc.

Nota:

Asegúrese de que su antena u otra dispositivo está conectada correctamente antes de enchufar el cable de alimentación.

[Conexión de Cable de Antena]

Cuando conecte el aparato a una antena o una empresa de televisión por cable (sin caja de cable/satélite) Conecte el cable coaxial RF de su toma de corriente a la toma de entrada de antena de este aparato.

*Una vez completadas las conexiones, encienda el aparato e inicie la configuración inicial.

La exploración de canales es necesaria para que el aparato memorice todos los canales disponibles en su zona. (Consulte “Configuración lnicial” en página 13).

Nota:

Para su seguridad, y para evitar dañar el dispositivo, desenchufe el cable coaxial de RF del conector de entrada de antena antes de cambiar de sitio el aparato.

Si utiliza una antena para recibir televisión analógica, ésta debería funcionar también para recepción de DTV. Las antenas de exterior o de tejado serán más eficaces que las de versiones de sobremesa.

Para cambiar fácilmente su fuente de recepción entre antena y cable, instale un selector de antena.

Si se conecta directamente al sistema de cable, póngase en contacto con el instalador de CATV.

[Conexión a Caja de Cable o Caja de Satélite]

Conecte el cable coaxial RF de su toma de corriente a la toma de entrada de caja de cable/satélite.

Utilice otro cable coaxial RF para conectar la toma de entrada de antena del aparato a la toma de salida de la caja de cable/satélite.
