Then pick the one that fits best, and you can re-use the
other two unused virtual t racks with new virtual tr acks—
keep the alternative takes for the future i f you change your
mind later on.

Alternatively, if you want to assemble a track for the whole
song, you could assign the three different takes of the par t
to three different active tracks and u se the track editing
functions to copy and paste the good part s of each track to
make a perfect whole. Then use the two non-perfect track s
with other virtual track s for new parts.
In this case, you can also reassign the physical tracks of
unused virtual track s to other virtual track s.
NOTE
Of course, virtual tracks take up disk spac e, even
when you are not using them. If you really do not
need a virtual track, you should clean it out to save
disk space (see “CLEAN OUT” on page 63).
