6.1.5Safely Removing your USB Storage Device

Introduction

If you just remove your USB storage device from the Thomson Gateway you may loose some data. To avoid this you must first unmount your USB storage device.

Unmounting your USB storage device

Proceed as follows

1Browse to the Thomson Gateway Web Interface.

2On the Toolbox menu, click Content Sharing.

3In the Location bar, click Configure.

4Click Unmount.

5Remove your USB storage device from the Thomson Gateway.
