groundlead
Customizable ground lead (5 ea).This
ground lead wire canbe bent or cut shorter.
NOTE:To ease insertion into the ground socket
of the probe, cut the tipof this ground lead wire at
a 30 to 60 degree angle.
Tomaintain signal fidelity while probing, useas
short a ground path aspossible. Refer to page 18
for more groundinginformation.

Adapter spring (10 ea). Use the adapter spring
for low-profileprobing of 0.025 inch square pins.
The adapter springallows the probe to lie at a
right-angle(flat against a circuit board). This
enablesprobing in vertical circuits, such as
computeror communications backplanes, or in
tight areas,such as between circuit cards.
The adapter can be useddirectly with the probe
head or attached to the Y-leadadapter or ground
leads.
The adapter isattached by pushing the tip into
the probe tip socketuntil it is seated. The adapter
springcan be easily removed by hand.
