Follow these helpful hints to make probing easier and noise fre e.

Low-inductance Grounding

Placing a ground plane on top of a package being probed c an
minimize ground lead length and inductance. See Figure 7.

Attach a small piece of copper clad on t op of the package and
connect it to the package ground connection. Use the low-inductance
ground lead provided with the P7240 to keep the ground lead le ngth
as short as possible.
