Battery Installation

Insure that the OFF/ON volume control knob is turned OFF. Press down the battery release latch and remove battery pack. Pack slides off in opposite direction. Replace batteries as follows:

1.Open the battery pack by inserting finger nail and lifting as shown.

3.Load new batteries with negative end against the spring.

4.Start loading at hinged end of case.

5. Be sure strap goes under batteries and over the top of the ribs.

6. Tuck end of strap under door when closing.

FAQ

How do I remove the battery pack?

To remove the battery pack, insure that the OFF/ON volume control knob is turned OFF. Then, press down the battery release latch and remove the pack by sliding it off in the opposite direction.

How do I open the battery pack?

To open the battery pack, insert your finger nail and lift as shown in the figure 36.

How do I load new batteries?

To load new batteries, start at the hinged end of the case, making sure the strap goes under the batteries and over the top of the ribs. Tuck the end of the strap under the door when closing.
