Place paper in the drawer(s).

1. BACKGROUND ADJUSTMENT

This function allows you to adjust the density of the original’s background or to avoid copying the back side of originals.

2 Place the original(s).

43 Press the [IMAGE] button to enter the image menu, and then press the [BACKGROUND ADJUSTMENT] button.

4 Press the [LIGHT] (or [DARK]) button to adjust the density.

5 Press the [ENTER] button.

z Select other copy modes as required.

6 Press the [START] button.

Canceling the Background Adjustment

There are 2 ways for clearing the setting.

-Press the [LIGHT] or [DARK] button on the Background column to move the indicator to 0, and then press the [ENTER] button.

-Press the [DEFAULT] button, and then press the [ENTER] button.
