Using the TV’s features
Using the SRS WOW® surround sound
SRS WOW® is a special combination of SRS Labs audio
technologies that creates a thrilling surround sound experience
with deep, rich bass from stereo sound sources. Your TV’s
audio will sound fuller, richer and wider.
SRS WOW® consists of three features; SRS 3D®, SRS
FOCUS®, and SRS TruBass®, being turned on.
1From the SOUND menu, press or to select WOW
on the 2nd page, then press Q.
2Press or �� to select an item you want to adjust, then
press or to adjust the settings as required.
SRS 3D: To turn the surround effect On or Off.
FOCUS: To turn the vocal emphasis effect On or Off.
TruBass: To select the desired bass expansion level
(Off, Low or High).
Notes:
If the broadcast is monaural, the SRS 3D® effect does not
work.

The SRS WOW® effect is active only when the sound outputs
from the speaker.
This feature is not available through headphones.
Using the stable sound
The Stable sound function limits the highest volume level to
prevent extreme changes in volume when the signal source
changes (for example, to prevent the sudden increase in
volume that often happens when a TV program switches to a
commercial).
1From the SOUND menu, press or to select Stable
sound on the 2nd page.
2Press or to select On or Off.
Note:
The Stable sound effect is active only when the sound outputs
from the speaker.
Activating the speaker
Use this function to turn the TV speakers off when you connect
an audio system (- page 28).
1From the SOUND menu, press or to select
Speaker on the 2nd page.
2Press or to select On or Off.
Selecting the woofer internal/external mode
1Press M, then press or to display the SET UP
menu.
2Press or to select AV connection, then press Q to
display the AV connection menu.
3Press or to select Woofer, then press or to
select Internal or External.
Internal is to use the bass boost.
External is to use an external woofer system.
Using the bass boost
When you select Internal Woofer from the AV connection
menu, you can set the bass boost level.
1From the SOUND menu, press or to select Bass
boost on the 2nd page.
2Press or to select On.
3Press to select Bass boost level.
4Press or to adjust the Bass boost level.
5To turn off the Bass boost, press or to display Bass
boost, then press or to select Off.
