Operating Basics

For some functions, you can tap the Touch pad instead of pressing a control button.

Click	Tap the Touch pad once
Double click	Tap the Touch pad twice
Drag and drop	1. Hold down the left control button and move
	the cursor to drag the item you want to
	move.
	2. Lift your finger to drop the item where you
	want it.
Scroll	Vertical: Move your finger up or down the right
	edge of the Touch pad.
	Horizontal: Move your finger left or right along
	the bottom edge of the Touch pad.

Using optical media drives

The illustrations in this section might differ slightly from your drive, but operation is the same for all optical media drives. The full
size drive provides high
performance execution of CD/DVD
ROM
based programs. You can run either 12 cm (4.72") or 8 cm (3.15") CD/DVDs without an adaptor. An ATAPI interface controller is used for CD/DVD
ROM operation. When the computer is accessing a CD/DVD, an indicator on the drive glows.
