2.5 Connecting the Printer (with a LAN Interface) to Your Computer 1. Fit the supplied ferrite core close to the
connector of the LAN cable. (See the photo on
the right.)
2. Connect the ferrite core fitted end of LAN cable
into the LAN Interface Connector at the back of
the printer.
3. Connect the other end of the LAN cable into a
network device such as a hub.
Precautions
･ Be sure to fit the supplied ferrite core to a LAN cable. If a different ferrite core is fitted to the
cable, communications with the computer may become unstable.
･ Pay attention to the orientation of the connector when connecting the LAN cable.
･ Choose a LAN cable that best fits your needs or environment.
