11. CASSETTE SETTING FOR THICK PAPER/OHP FILM

Thick paper with a weight of 91~105g/m2 can be fed from the cassette or large-capacity feeder, and OHP film can be fed from the cassette. This is convenient if copies are often made on special paper.

Setting the Cassette for Thick Paper (91~105g/m2)

1 Set the thick paper (91~105g/m2) on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th cassette, or the large-capacity feeder.

●The procedure for changing the paper size of the cassette for thick paper is the same as that for normal paper. See page 130.

●Thick paper with a weight of greater than 105g/m2 can be fed only from the sheet bypass. See page 42.

●Up to 400 sheets (105g/m2) can be set at a time.

●Duplex copying with the optional automatic duplexer is not available.

2 Press the PROGRAM key to enter the Program menu, and press the THICK PAPER key.

3	Press the cassette you have set the thick
	paper on the display.
	● The top cassette cannot be set for thick paper.
	Use the 2nd, 3rd or 4th cassette, or the large-
4	capacity feeder.

	Press the	SET	key.
