Procedure2 Earphonetest
Connectasetifearphonesorexternalspeakers.Ifthesefunctioncorrectly,gotoProcedure3. Iftheydonotfunctioncorrectly,thesystemboardmaybedefectiveordamaged.Replaceit withanewone.
Procedure3 Connectioncheck
DisassemblethecomputerfollowingthestepsdescribedinChapter4,Replacement Proceduresandmakesurethespeakercableisfirmlyconnectedtotheaudioboard.Ifthe speakersarestillnotfunctioningproperly,gotoProcedure4.
Procedure4 Replacementcheck
Ifthestereospeakersdon'tsoundproperly,thestereospeakersmaybedefectiveordamaged. Replacethemwithnewones.Ifthestereospeakersstilldonotworkproperly,tryreplacingin turntheaudioboardandsystemboard.
