Starting the Earth Fault Search

This section describes how to conduct an Earth Fault Search, from selecting the appropriate access code to correcting the fault.

The panel must be at the appropriate access level (1, 2, 3, or 4) in order to run diagnostics. To get to the correct access level,

1.Press the Menu button. The following message comes up (press the Next or Previous buttons, if necessary, to display it):

Press <NEXT> or <PREVIOUS> to scroll

Change Access Level?

5.Press the Enter button. Now you are prompted to log in or log out.

1=Login 2=Logout CURRENT ACCESS LEVEL = x

6.Press the "1" key on the numeric keypad to log in, so that the passcode prompt comes up.

Enter a Passcode followed by <ENTER>

7.Enter the passcode and press the Enter button. ACCESS GRANTED displays briefly on the LCD, and then the display goes back to:

1=Login 2=Logout CURRENT ACCESS LEVEL = y

You can now open the diagnostic menu as described in the next topic.

To start an Earth Fault Search,

1.If necessary, press the Menu button to access the menus.

8.Press the Previous or Next buttons until the diagnostic functions option appears:

Press <NEXT> or <PREVIOUS> to scroll
