Making and Receiving Calls

The following features of the XSA660 and XSA650 phone are different depending on the Handset’s Location when you make or receive a call.

		Handset on Base	Handset off Base
Answer call	When the phone rings, remove the		Press speaker button on the

Hang up	Return handset to the base.		Press speaker button on the

Redial	1. Remove the handset from the
		base and press talk.	Note: You must use the

	3.	Press redial to dial the last
		number.

Note: Sometimes when you press talk to hang up the phone, you may get an error tone and the phone will not disconnect. If this happens, place the Handset on the Base Unit or press talk again while holding the Handset close to the Base Unit.
