!CAUTION

If outside temperature is below 50°F, we recommend that you remove the thermostat from the wall before proceeding with the following steps to program cooling tem- peratures. Personal injury or property dam- age may occur due to air conditioner com- pressor slugging. A fresh 9 volt Energizer® alkaline battery must be installed to perform off-wall programming. Programming away from the wall should prevent accidental com- pressor operation. BE SURE TO USE
