BLADE SERVICING

Inspect blades for condition and proper installation each time before operation. Replace any blade that is bent, excessively nicked, worn or has any other dam- age. Small nicks can be ground out when sharpening.

Remove Blades

1.For right and left spindles, install spindle lock wrench (5) through belt shield (3) and into holes in

spindle pulley as shown in Figure 7. Remove bolt (8)

that has RIGHT HAND THREADS. Remove cup

washers (7), washer (6), and blade (1).

On the center spindle use blade wrench handle

(4). The handle will rotate against gearbox stand

 

when blade bolt is removed.

unless intentionally removed.
