Button Names and Functions in Each Position

■TAPE/MD position (tape deck, MD recorder or CD recorder)

Select the TAPE/MD position.
		Numeric buttons (MD/CD-R)
		INDEX (CD-R)
		+10 (MD/CD-R)
		Deck A/B (tape)
r Rec/Pause (tape/MD)		This button selects deck A or B on a double-cassette
		tape deck.
e Pause (MD/CD-R)		DISPLAY (MD/CD-R)
	A/B/C/D/E	a DIR B (tape)
p Play		This button selects the playing direction of
b DIR A (tape)		deck B.
This button selects the playing direction of deck A.		Skip + (MD/CD-R)
Skip – (MD/CD-R)
		s Stop
w Rewind (tape)		f Fast forward (tape)
Search (MD/CD-R)		Search (MD/CD-R)

AV POWER

This button turns on the tape deck, MD recorder or CD recorder that has a remote control with a power button if you have set up the code for another manufacturer.

Select the CD position.
	Numeric buttons	yPause/Stop function

		pause in operation and press
	DISPLAY	once more to stop operation.

AV POWER

This button turns on the CD player that has a remote control with a power button if you have set up the code for another manufacturer.

•The dark-shaded buttons do not function even if you have set up the manufacturer code.

•Some of them may not function depending on the component you have. In this case, use the original remote control supplied with your component.
