Chapter 2 NAS Starter Utility
Click Configure network setting in the main utility screen to display the following screen.

NAS Name | Specify a name to uniquely identify the NSA on your network. You can |
| enter up to 15 alphanumeric characters with minus signs allowed but |
| not as the last character. The name must begin with an alphabetic |
| character |

Get IP | Select this if the NSA is automatically assigned an IP address from the |
automatically | ISP or a DHCP server in your network. |

Assign IP | Select this if you want to assign the NSA a fixed IP address, subnet |
Manually | mask and default gateway. |
| Note: Do not configure an IP address that is already in use in your |
| network. This results to a network IP address conflict and |
| makes the NSA inaccessible. |

Use DNS server | Domain Name System (DNS) is for mapping a domain name to its |
from DHCP | corresponding IP address and vice versa. Select this if the NSA is |
server | automatically given DNS information from the ISP or a DHCP server in |
| your network. |

Assign DNS | If you were given specific IP address(es) of the DNS server(s), select |
server manually | this and enter the primary and secondary DNS in the corresponding |
| fields. |

PPPoE | Click this if your Internet connection requires you to enter a user name |
| and password to connect to the Internet. |
