Hardware Installation & Initial Setup
This chapter describes the physical features of the Prestige and how to make the cable connections.
2.1Front Panel LEDs of the P642
The LED indicators on the front panel indicate the operational status of the Prestige. The table below the figure describes the LED functions:

PWR | Green | On | Power is applied to the Prestige. |

SYS | Green | On | The Prestige is on and functioning properly. |

| Off | The system is not ready or has malfunctioned. |
|
| Blinking | The system is rebooting. |
LAN 10M | Green | On | The Prestige has a successful 10Mb Ethernet connection. |

| Blinking | Data is being sent/received. |
LAN 100M | Green | On | The Prestige has a successful 100Mb Ethernet connection. |
|
| Blinking | Data is being sent/received. |
|
|
|
|
ADSL | Green | On | The Prestige is connected successfully to a DSLAM. |
|
| Off | The link is down. |
|
| Blinking | Data is being sent/received. |
|
