Table 16-5 Timeout Menu

FIELD	DESCRIPTION	DEFAULT

TCP Timeout Values
Connection Timeout	This is the length of time the ZyWALL waits for a TCP	30 seconds
	session to reach the established state before dropping
	the session.
FIN-Wait Timeout	This is the length of time a TCP session remains open	60 seconds
	after the firewall detects a FIN-exchange (indicating the
	end of the TCP session).
	This is the length of time of inactivity a TCP connection	3600 seconds
	remains open before the ZyWALL considers the	(1 hour)
Idle Timeout	connection closed.
Idle Timeout

UDP Idle Timeout	This is the length of time of inactivity a UDP connection	60 seconds
	remains open before the ZyWALL considers the
	connection closed.

ICMP Timeout	This is the length of time an ICMP session waits for the	60 seconds
	ICMP response.
