Firewall CLI Commands

The following table describes the syntax used to configure your firewall using Command Line Interface (CLI) commands. Select Menu 24.8 - Command Interpreter Mode from the main menu to go into CLI mode. For details on other CLI commands to configure your ZyWALL, please consult the included disk.

Description

Activates or deactivates the saved firewall settings.

Retrieves currently saved firewall settings.

Saves the current firewall settings.

Displays the all the firewall settings including e-mail, attack, and sets/rules.

Displays current entries of a set configuration; including timeout values, name, default-permit, and number of rules under it.

If you don’t put # after set, it will display all the sets/rules information.

Displays current entries of a rule in a set configuration;

Displays all the settings for attack alert.

Displays all the setting for e-mail part.

Displays all the available sub commands.

Edits the mail server which alerting e-mail messages are sent through.

Edits the source address for sending mail usage.
