QUITANIEVES

1.Limpietodo el quitanieves.

2.Lubriquetodos los puntos de lubri- caci6n. Consultela secci6n de Man- tenimiento.

3.Aseg_rese de que todas las tuercas, pernos y tornillosest_n bien apreta- dos. Inspeccionetodas las piezas mbvilesvisibles para detectar da- 5os, roturasy desgaste. Haga los reemplazos necesarios.

4.Retoque todas las superficiesoxida- das o que tengan la pinturasaltada; lijelas suavemente antes de aplicar la pintura.

5.Cubra las piezas de metal expuesto del soplador del alojamientode la barrena y del impulsor,con un anti- corrosivo,tal como un lubricanteen aerosol.

NOTA: Una revisi6n o afinamiento anual hecho en un Centro de Servicio

MOTOR

Deber_. sacar la gasolina del tanque o prepararla para prevenir la formaci6n de dep6sitos de goma en el tanque, fll- tro, manguera y carburador durante el almacenamiento. Adem&s, durante el almacenamiento, la gasolina mezclada con alcohol que contiene etanol o me-

tanol (llamada a veces gasohol) atrae agua, y _sta actua sobre la gasolina formando &cidos que dar_an el motor.

1.Deje el motoren marcha hasta que el tanque quede vacfo y el motorse pare.

2.Si no quiere sacar la gasolina, use el estabilizadorde combustibleprovis- to con la unidad, o compre estabili- zador de combustibleCraftsman Nt_m.3550. A_ada el estabilizador de combustiblea cualquiercantidad de gasolina que permanezca en el tanque para minimizar losdep6sitos de goma y &cido. Si el tanque estd casi vacfo, mezcle el estabilizador con gasolina fresca en un recipients separado y a_ada un poco de esta mezcla al tanque.

3.Siempre siga las instruccionesdel envase del estabilizador.Luego de ar_adirel estabilizador,encienda el motory d6jelo correr por 10 minutos pot Io menos para permitirque la mezcla alcance el carburador.

OTRAS INDICAClONES

1.Si fuera posible, guarde su quita- nieves dentro de un recinto, cubri_n- dolo para protegedo del polvo y la suciedad.

2.Si debe guardar el quitanieves afue- ra, colbquelo sobre bloques para le- vantarlo del suelo.

3.Cubra el quitanieves con una cubier- ta protectora apropiada que no re- tenga humedad. No use pldstico.
