ANTES DE ENCENDEREL MOTOR

1.Antes de dar servicio o encender el mo- tor, familiaricese con su quitanieves. Ase- g,_rese de conocer la ubicacibn de todos los controles y entender su funci6n.

2.Revise la tensibn del cable del embrague antes do arrancar el motor. Consulte el

AJuste del cable de control que apare-

co en la seccibn de Servlclo y Ajustes de este manual.

3.Aseg(_mse de que todos los sujetadores estdn apretados.

4.Compruebe que el ajusto de los paUnes de altura est_ correcto. Consulte el p_ra- fo "Ajuste de los patine= de altura" que aparece en la secci6n de Serviclo y AJustes de este manual.

5.Revise la presi6n de los neumb.ticos

(14-17 Iibras). No exceda el limite m_xi- mo de presi6n.

ANTES DE ARRANCAR EL MOTOR

NOTA: El motor fue enviado do la f_zbrica con aceite. Revise el nivel de aceite. Afiada aceite seg_n sea necesado.

Para a_adir aceite

1.Aseg_Liresede que la unidad so encuen- tre sobre una superficie nivelada.

NOTA: No revise el nivel de aceite estan- do el motor en marcha.

2.Quite la tapa/varilla indicadora del nivel de aceite y limpiela con un patio limpio.

3.Inserto la tapa/varilla indicadora del nivel de aceite y gfrela hacia la dere- cha para aprotarla.

4.Saque la tapa/varilla indicadora del nivel de aceite y revise el aceite.

5.Si es necesario, afiada aceite hasta la linea FULL (lleno) en la tapa_arilla indi- cadora del nivel de aceite ( Figura 58). No exceda la medida.

6.Apriete firmemente la tapa/varilla cada vez que revise el nivel de aceite.

NOTA: El aceite sint_tico puede servirle para hacer arrancar el motor en condiciones de temperaturas sumamente frlas. El aceite sintdtico 5W30 es aceptable para todas las

temperaturas. NO mezcle el aceite con ga- solina.
