NNote: If your document to be faxed in PostScript resolution does not contain the same fonts available on the receiving fax printer, the printer substitutes your selected font and reformats the document. To avoid this, be certain that the document you are faxing contains fonts from the base font list of 35 fonts available to all PostScript fax printers.

Follow these steps to transmit your document as a fax from

MS-DOS:

1.Begin your MS-DOS application from where you wish to send a document as a fax and prepare your document as if you were going to print it. Be certain the PostScript printer driver is selected within the application.

2.Press Alt+F1 or the hot-key combination you selected during software installation to display the Fax Pop-up menu.

3.This step is optional. Type the fax recipient name and press Enter. The name you type appears on the fax cover page and on the fax confirmation screen.
