Using the Group Phonebook to broadcast a fax

Use the Group Phonebook to specify recipient groups frequently sent a broadcast fax. Create a Group Phonebook by selecting a number of recipients from the Phonebook and assigning a group name.

To send a group broadcast, select the group name from the

Group Phonebook.

Creating a Group Phonebook entry

1.Press F2 from the Fax Pop-up menu to access the Fax Phonebook screen.

2.Press F3 to display the Group Phonebook screen.

3.Press Insert to display the Change Group Members screen.

4.Highlight the entry you want included in the group and press Spacebar to select it. If you decide to deselect it, press the same keys again.

5.Press F10 to display the Enter Group Name screen.

6.Enter a group name and press F10. This name can contain a maximum of 32 characters. The Group Phonebook screen appears with the new group name on the list.

Using the Group Phonebook for a broadcast message

1.Press F2 from the Fax Pop-up menu to access the Phonebook.

2.Press F3 to access the Group Phonebook screen. This screen lists the groups you have defined.

3.Click on the group name to send a broadcast fax to and press Enter. Select more than one group by using Spacebar or Ctrl+Enter. Press Enter when your selections are made.

The Fax Phonebook screen appears with the members you selected. You may add additional recipients from your Phonebook.

4.When all the recipients are selected, press F10. The Fax Pop- up menu appears and you may begin your fax.

Editing the Group Phonebook entry

1.Press F2 on the Fax Pop-up menu to access the Phonebook.

2.Press F3 to access the Group Phonebook.

3.Highlight the group you wish to edit and press F2.

The Change Group Members screen appears with the selected members.

4.Highlight the name to be added to the group and press Spacebar.

To deselect a member, highlight the selected entry and press Spacebar.
