Diagnostics and Maintenance

1.Always ground yourself with a wrist strap connected to ground before handling. ESD (Electrostatics Discharge) may cause the damage to the device.

2.Do not remove a PCA.

3.Do not use a conductive cleaner to clean a disk drive assembly.

6.2.2Maintenance requirements

(1)Preventive maintenance

Preventive maintenance such as replacing air filters is not required.

Damage

Never open the disk enclosure in the field. Opening the disk enclosure in the field may cause an irreparable fault.

(2)Service life

See "(3) Service life," in Section 2.1.5.
