4-6.7.2 SMTP Configuration
This feature allows the administrator to set up the mail server IP, mail account, account password, and forwarding email account for receiving the event alert.
Email Alert | This feature is to enable or disable the email alert function. | |
SMTP Server IP | This feature is to set up the mail server IP address (when Email Alert | |
enabled, this function will then be available). | ||

Sender | Type in an alias of the switch in complete email address format, e.g. | |
switch101@123.com, to identify where the | ||

| Check the box to enable and configure the email account and password | |
Authentication | for authentication (when Email Alert is enabled, this function will then be | |

| This feature is to set up the email account, e.g. johnadmin@123.com, to | |
Mail Account | receive the alert. It must be an existing email account on the mail server, | |
| which you set up in SMTP Server IP Address column. | |
Password | Use this feature to set up the email account password. | |
Confirm Password | To reconfirm the password. | |
Rcpt | This feature is to assign up to 6 | |
the alert. | ||

After finishing necessary configurations, click on Apply to save the settings. |
