CONNECTING TO THE NETWORK

Note: You must terminate each segment attached to the tee-connector. If you do not attach a segment to one of the female connections on the tee-connector, then a terminator must be placed on that connection.

c.Attach another thin-coax segment or a terminator to the other female connector on the tee-connector.

When internal termination switch is set to off ():

Connect BNC tee-connector to port.

Attach a terminator or terminated thin-net segment to one female connector of tee-connector.

Connect a terminated thin-net

segment to other female connector

of tee-connector.

Attach thin-net segment directly to BNC connector when internal termination switch is set to on ( ).
