3.6BRIM CONNECTION

Figure 3-8 shows the location of the Bridge/Router Interface Module (BRIM) connector on the ESX board. Refer to the BRIM Guide for installation procedures and additional information.

3.7INSTALLING THE ESX

The ESX may be installed on a tabletop, shelf, or in a 19-inch rack. Refer to Section 3.7.1 for information concerning a tabletop or shelf installation. Section 3.7.2 describes the rackmount installation.

To prevent possible personal injury and/or damage to the unit, do NOT connect power to the ESX until instructed to do so.
