Enable Auto Upgrade

Enable or disable auto upgrade—If enabled, the SmartLink 4020 will automatically check the upgrade server on a periodic basis for new system firmware and software upon reload or power cycle.

Auto Upgrade Protocol

Select the protocol for auto upgrade

Upgrade Server

Specify the auto upgrade server IP address

Auto Upgrade URL

Specify the auto upgrade server by URL. This field is dependent on the auto upgrade service package installa- tion. The default value is iadmgr.

Saving your work

When you are finished configuring settings, click the Save AutoUpgrade button to save the changes.

Manual Upgrade

For both HTTP and TFTP methods, the device will reboot itself into the downloader mode if the main appli- cation is executing, and proceed with the ROM file download and permanent write of the application to the device’s flash memory. During download of new firmware images, the LEDs on the SmartLink 4020 will flash sequentially. Typically, HTTP downloads take about 5–10 minutes. After the download is completed, the download status page will be displayed.
