Appendix E: Technical Support

For Service

If your Clean Screen PC needs servicing, call Planar Advance Customer Service at 503-614-4126 between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.

You will need the unit’s serial number and a brief description of the problem to receive a RMA number.

If a repair is required, please return the product for service using the original shipping contain- er (if possible) and clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the box.

Returns will not be accepted without an assigned RMA number. Include a description of the con- figuration at the time of malfunction, including network configuration, PCMCIA card, mouse type and drivers, cabling (if other than that supplied), software program in use, and a description of the symptoms.

In-transit damage is not covered by the warranty. We suggest you always insure your shipment. Planar will only pay for the return shipment by surface transportation. It is the responsibility of the sender to prepay transportation charges.
