When the input source contains the encoded front high channel, front high speakers output the sound. If there are no surround back speakers, or Powered Zone 2 is being used, Dolby Pro Logic II is used. Surround back speakers are not supported.

Front high speakers are not supported.

For the Blu-ray Discs, Dolby Digital is used in a 3.1/5.1-channel speaker system.

AV receiver can input the DSD signal from HDMI IN. Setting the output setting on the player side to PCM might obtain a better sound according to the player. In that case, set the output setting on the player side to PCM.

Depending on the input source, DTS is used.

If there are no surround back speakers, DTS is used.

Output can be switched between front high or surround back speakers by pressing SP LAYOUT [depending on the “Sp Config” set- ting (35)].

• The listening modes cannot be selected with some source formats.
