At the production line, the output power of the scanner unit is adjusted to 0.18 MILLIWATT (Total Power) PLUS 5% and is maintained constant by the operation of the Automatic Power Control (APC).

A small amount of ozone is produced within the unit during operation. The emission level is insufficient to cause any health hazard.

Note:

The present recommended long term exposure limit for ozone is 0.1 ppm (0.2 mg/m3) calculated as an 8 hr. time-weighted average concentration.

However, since the small amount that is emitted may have an objectionable odor, it is advisable to place the unit in a ventilated area.

The SOFTWARE LICENSE will appear when you install the software from the CD-ROM. By using all or any portion of the software on the CD-ROM or in the machine, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of the SOFTWARE LICENSE.
